Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using Retired & Adrift ("Service"), operated by Lisa Fitzpatrick The Internet Lady ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service. By using our Service, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

The Service is intended for individuals seeking to optimize their retirement travel opportunities and learn ways to maximize limited income.

Nothing in our services is to be construed as financial advise and is primarily for entertainment and educational purposes only.

User Accounts and Registration

Account Creation

To access certain features, you must create an account by providing accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

Notify us of any unauthorized account access
Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
Use the Service in compliance with applicable laws

Subscription Plans and Billing

Subscription Tiers

Free: Basic access with limited features. Free Newsletter and public video access
The Drifty Crew: Everything in the Free tier, plus Full Community access and learning platform access
Captain's Circle: Everthing in The Free and The Drifty Crew tiers, plus live calls and a 1 to 1 hour long consultation with Danny and Lisa Fitzpatrick quarterly.

Billing Terms

Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
All payments are processed securely through Stripe and/or PayPal

Free trials automatically convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled
You may cancel your subscription at any time, and is effective the last day of your current prepaid billing period. Your remaining subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period.

Price Changes

We reserve the right to modify subscription prices with 30 days advance notice. Price changes will not affect your current billing cycle but will apply to subsequent renewals.

Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could harm the Service, its users, or Lisa Fitzpatrick, sole proprietor. Prohibited activities include:

Violating any applicable laws or regulations
Attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems
Interfering with or disrupting the Service
Uploading malicious code or harmful content
Impersonating others or providing false information
Sharing account credentials with unauthorized users
Using the Service to compete with our business
Reverse engineering or copying our proprietary methods

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. Upon termination:

Your access to the Service will cease immediately
We may delete your account and data after a reasonable notice period
You remain responsible for any outstanding fees
Provisions regarding intellectual property and liability survive termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

SMS & Text Messaging

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of Retired & Adrift, a dba of Lisa Fitzpatrick The Internet Lady services, including our website and our SMS and email communications programs. By using our services or opting into our communications, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. Program Description

Retired & Adrift may send SMS and email messages to users who opt in. Messages may include promotional offers, service updates, appointment confirmations, and appointment reminders. Message frequency may vary.

2. Consent to Receive Messages

By providing your phone number and opting in, you authorize Retired & Adrift to send text messages to your mobile number. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

3. Opt Out

You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text "STOP" to the (855) 805-2588. After you send the SMS message "STOP" to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us.

4. Opt In Again

If you want to rejoin after opting out, you can opt in again using the same method you used to enroll originally.

5. Help and Support

If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program you can reply with the keyword HELP for more assistance, or you can get help directly at [email protected] or (855) 805-2588.

6. Message Frequency and Rates

As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. You will receive transactional messagees according for any and all transactions. You will receive appointment messages for any calls, calendar appointments or live sessions up to 3 times prior to the appointment or session. You may receive reminders of upcoming payments due 30 days, 1 week, and 1 day prior to billing date. You will receive marketing, promotional, and tip messages up to 3 times per week, depending on opted in services. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.
